Beata Korabiowska was born in Poland but moved to Chiswick (West London, UK), where she now lives with her daughters and granddaughter.

She acts as an English-Polish translator, but her real passion is art and has created the "She Horse" brand.

Beata's story begins many years ago as a child in Poland where her love of poetry, art, and horses began. What does expression through art mean to her?

People say and write many things about art, much of it is nonsense. Most critics will view, read or experience a piece of art and build a categorised meaning for it. This is then used to pigeon-hole, explain, criticise or praise that artwork. This explanation can render a piece distorted, and sometime restrict the on-lookers view and personal interpretation.

Many times have she read expert reviews that have explained (or interpreted) a piece’s meaning that completely contradicted experts or missed the point. Art means many things to many people; one picture can mean a thousand things to a thousand people, this is an important part of artistic expression.

What does expression through art mean to Beata ? It means touching people's hearts directly, although a good heated debate is never a bad thing.
